“If you have come here to help me you are wasting your time, but if you have come because
your liberation is bound up with mine, then let us work together.” Lilla Watson
Who am I?
I am a Parent and Youth Coach with over 20 years working with individuals and families. I start where you or your loved ones are with the primary goals being to build:
1. Increased self-awareness
2. Improved executive functioning skills and application across different life domains and
3. Improved relationships
4. Your ability to navigate decisions, transitions, or tricky moments with integrity and authenticity
Together we build the mental fitness, body-mind integration, connection and executive functioning skills needed to meet the moment you or your young person are facing.
We know that from early childhood even through young adulthood, young people and their caregivers shape one another bi-directionally. We must understand the context in order to clarify goals and steps needed. I specialize in work within family systems, including caregivers, youth, and young adults as the whole context. This space to understand, embrace and support the whole-family system is unique to my coaching model.
As a human being, a woman, mother of three children, wife, sister, daughter, friend, and professional, I have navigated some beautiful and extremely bumpy terrain, learning to balance and integrate different aspects of my identity. I laugh a lot, make art, love nature, play sports, listen to music, dance for hours, and love being alive.
I am a clinically-trained Social Worker, who developed my initial outlook in training with the Infant-Parent Program and Alicia Lieberman of the Child-Parent Therapy Group at UCSF. I am a health-behavior researcher, PK-12th School Counselor, and trusted advisor in the community. I have fallen in love with the coaching model as my methodology to support and contribute to building a healthier society. Coaching allows me to marry together my researcher origins, powerful clinical background and deep delight in working directly with human beings. The coaching modality allows me to meet you where you are, with all that I am.
Every engagement begins with a free consultation to get to know one another and to explore how I might be able to help you or your loved one build:
1. Increased self-awareness
2. Improved executive functioning skills and application across different life domains and
3. Improved relationships
4. Your ability to navigate decisions, transitions, or tricky moments with integrity and authenticity
